2013’s first panda update by Google!

Since February 2011, Google has been putting sincere efforts to make search more relevant and genuine for the users by bringing timely updates in their database. The last of the lot came on December 21st 2012 that had an impact on almost 1.3% of all the search related queries. This was slightly higher than the previous update run by Google on November 21st (0.8% impact). There were reports in the web world that Google has run an update recently during last week. However, Google’s representatives constantly kept on denying any such rumour. But, yesterday it Google’s representative announced officially that they have run an update in their search engine database related to the English based queries. The latest update, 24th in terms of number of updates run by Google, has had an impact on as much as 1.2% of search related queries, quite a significant one. Looking at the time duration between the last 3 Panda refreshes it seems that Google is bringing these updates in a timely manner keeping a time gap of 4 weeks or so.
