301 redirects does not dilute page rank, not as far as Google’s concerned

“The amount of PageRank that dissipates through a 301 is currently identical to the amount of PageRank that dissipates through a link.” These are the words of Google’s Matt Cutts in the video posted on his blog recently. Giving rest to the thoughts of people who believed that they should not use 301 redirects because it will dissipate more PageRank than using a normal link, Matt mentioned these comments in a video, posted on his blog. The myth has been running in the SEO industry for quite a long time. There were reports in the market that 301 redirects do not pass through a full page rank and it is better to link your site via a normal link as compared to a 301 redirect. However, with this recent video, Matt has cleared the doubts of many who believed in it.
