Don’t get too excited, if you are a webmaster by simply reading the headline. Rather, it comes as sad news for the webmasters, all across the globe. Google has recently surprised all the webmasters by announcing that they will no longer providing official confirmations for their Panda Updates.
‘I don’t expect us to tweet about or confirm current or future Panda updates because they’ll be incorporated into our indexing process and thus be more gradual.’
This is what one of the correspondents of Google had to say on the future Panda refreshes.
Matt Cutts had earlier stated this week at the SMX West that Google might roll out a Panda refresh this week. However, he further said that
‘The update and future updates would no longer be apparent as an abrupt change. Rather, Panda changes would roll out over a series of days’.
So far, there have been 25 updates in the algorithm, all of which have left impact on the websites and their ratings, the most recent one stated to come in effect by15th of this month. But, so far there has been no confirmation from Google’s end for the same.
As of now, all we know is that the company does not plan to provide any official confirmation about the updates hitting the web-world in the coming times.
